Description
The brewing industry in Grünbach has been documented since the early 18th century with the brewing law of 1723. After an eventful history, Herman Noll took over the brewery under the name of Schloßbrauerei Grünbach. In 1990 son Alexander took over the brewery in the third generation. After the year 2000 Alexander Noll started to look for a partner in order to be able to cope with the challenges of the beer market and also recognize the potential of the brewery in order to be able to continue investing in brand revitalization and expansion together. In 2013 this partner was found in the Arco-Bräu in Moos.

Nice Banana-flavour, nice cloudy. The beer starts nice fruity, slightly malty, The mainpart is for a Leichtes Weizen quite good, nice yeasty banana and clove aroma, slightly malty and only a little bit bitter. The aftertaste is long, creamy-smooth, even hints of roasted dry malts. Caramel, clove. --> One of the best Leichte Weizen I ever had! --> 13/13/13/13

Murky, dark yellow colour. Big foam typical to a weissbier. Aroma is stinging with wheat and hints of banana. Palate is too high on CO2. Flavour has some banana, wheat and cardboard. Blah.

Bottle. Ripe banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow-brown color with nice head. Sweet orange/banana, clove and light wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Pretty good - would have spectacular if it had more malt flavor.
