Description

33cl bottle, Alko. Pours brown color, beige head. Aroma is of roasted malt mainly. Flavor is kinda sweet caramel, slightly bitter. The alcohol shines through a little too much though.

bottle from Auchan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Red colour with a reddish, rather fluffy, head. Aroma of raspberry juice. The flavour also reminds me of juice, raspberries mostly, with a touch of cranberry and strawberry. Rather sweet and lively carbonated. Slightly "beery" only, strongly reminding of a lemonade. Of a refreshing and rather good lemonade, though.

Bottle. Courtesy Cheeta. Creamy white/reddish good mostly lasting head. Red-amber colour. Light maltyb heavy fruity/spicey aroma. Røn (danish for the tree with redberries used in "Gammel Dansk"). Light sweet and great spicey flavor. Røn and licorice notes. Long excellent moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Truly great beer.

Draught (Drink, Tallinn) - Dark brown with red tinges. Slightly musty aroma with notes of dried fruit and syrup. The taste is slightly tart with dried fruit, caramel and some sharp and sweet notes.

Bottle. Clear golden color with a large and fluffy white head. The aroma is quite sweet, with syrupy element. Flavor is very sweet with some spiciness, caramel and hints of banana. Drinkable but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Pours a cloudy blonde with decent head into a chalice. Aroma isn’t much, just alcohol and citrus notes, which means there’s hops floating around somewhere. Good flavour, dark malts and syrup, caramel, hops, all the good stuff you’d expect from Leffe but there’s not much to differentiate it from the brewery’s other brews. In fact between this and the Brown I can barely tell the difference.

Bottle at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Dark, brownish color, white head. The beer was quite sweet and rich with nice features of honey and dried fruits. Little bitterness and some alcoholic in the taste. Stable stuff.

Bottle at The Spitfire, Stockholm. A quite nice style typical aroma. The taste is way to sweet and the mouthfeel almost syrupy
