Description

Creamy beige head stayed on a dark reddish brown body. Caramel & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a tingle on the back & cloying aft. Toffee, caramel, sweet berries & plum tastes with a tangy fruity finish. Lovely

33cl bottle I swiped from my father in law. He wouldn't have drank it anyway. Pours a clear gold with a thick cap of white head. Heavy looking carb, uniform. Garret Oliver would not approve. Nose is gristy and dusty, hay, honey, candy. Flavor is very sweet, tons of candy and honey and very saccharine. Some yeast and a little paper, but mostly just candy. Sweet finish. Meh. Real meh.

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of nuts, caramel, and a bit of cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, and a bit of cardboard, leading to a dry finish.
