330 ml bottle, Sud No 22. Unclear orange with a small creamy head. White wine grapes, stone fruit, some citrus. Mild hoppy bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy fruity bittersweet finish. Decent Pale, nothing more.

Bottle at Saluk. Chestnut brown. Malt, roasted, nuts, bread. A bit sour; creamy mouthfeel, slightly sticky. Not bad. Could use more body, more crunch.

Bottle at Saluki. Hazy golden. Grass, citrus, hay, damp; perfume and flowery. Taste is rather damp, full; late summer and hay. Could be more crisp. Tad sticky, tad too heavy.

0.5 l bottle from Bier Laden, Berlin, shared with Fates11. Drank from the bottle on the street. Aroma is lightly malty, toasty and caramely. Flavour is toasty, sweet, malty, lightly nutty. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, light finish.

Tilmans Export, Flasche von Getränkefeinkost, Magdeburg. - Satt goldgelb, schwach trüb. - In der Nase feine, zart exotische Zitrusfrucht, Pampelmuse und Orangenöl vor süßem Hintergrund, Honig. - Antrunk satt und füllig getreidig hellmalzig mit deutlicher aber keinesfalls plumper Malzsüße, etwas Honig und solider pampelmusiger Herbe mit Mandarine, weißer Weintraube und Walnuß. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang sehr aromatische zitrusfruchtige und harzige Herbe. - Ungewöhnlich aromatisches Export von reicher, frisch getreidiger Malzigkeit und stattlicher Hopfung, die weit über das Sortentypische hinausgeht. Bottle at home, 23rd March 24. Pours a clearish straw lager. Aroma is mellow, fresh grass, straw and hay. Taste is mellow, fresh grass, bitter, clean, light floral.

Tilmans Pilsner, Fläschchen von Getränkefeinkost, MD-Buckau. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase aromatische, leicht exotische Hopfung mit Pampelmuse, Gras und ein wenig Mango über sauberem hellen Malz. - Antrunk schlank und doch weich hellmalzig mit zarter Malzsüße, Vanillezucker und einem Hauch Karamel. Dominierend ist natürlich die sehr aromatische pampelmusige und trocken grasige Herbe mit Anklängen an weiße Weintrauben und Rhabarber. Gut rezent, schlank. Im Abgang knackige aber nicht übertriebene Herbe. - Sehr schmackhaft gehopftes Pilsener. Das zum Vergleich getrunkene Veltins Pilsener wirkt daneben zwangsläufig etwas blaß, überzeugt aber durch seine schlankere Herbe und den klassischen Pilscharakter. (22.3.2024.)
