Rerate a bit later: Came together quite nicely now, moreish, dangerous. Tap. Dark amber, white lace, fruity roast, medium light, sweet sugary, dry caramel. Nice, leeetle bit too sweet and sticky, quite ok herb and sweet honey finish.

(on tap) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a firm mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruits and plums. Sweet and slightly bitter-tart flavour, almost full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Delicately sugary and toasted malt character with caramel, subtle fruity notes and delicately herbal hoppy spice from behind; sweet and delicately bitter-tart finish with hints of booze shing through. Likeable. 01.I.18

Tap. Hazy brown color with ruby highlight and a beige head. Aroma is strawberries, chocolate, bready, molasses. Taste is sweet strawberries, other berry hops, chocolate, bready, roasted flavours in the finish. Silky mouthfeel with high, but soft carbonation. Well-made, but a tad too sweet for me.

Tap at the brewpub. Rather clear golden color with a lot of fast-rising carbonation bubbles and a beautiful fluffy white head that goes well above the glass. Aroma is citrus, grassy, a touch exotic fruits, light wheat and dough, fresh yeasts. Taste is citrus, biscuity, wheat, fresh yeasts, a little bit of a grassy hopburn, light-bodied. Hugely foamy mouthfeel (that somehow the fact that it might be a bit watery without it), but rather soft carbonation. Well-made leichtes Weissbier with a nice hoppy touch - it's just that autumn might be the wrong time of the year for this beer.

Tap at the brewpub, 2017 version which is called "Goldenes Theresienbier" and seems to be rather pale, 14.5°P, 6.3%vol. Hazy yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is bready yeasts, citrus, herbal hops, a touch sulphur. Taste is bready, citrusy, grassy, earthy old world hopspice, sweetish biscuity malts below, a touch honey, a bit mineralic, moderately sweet finish. High soft carbonation. Quite pleasant, but the carbonation is a bit too high - without less carbonation it would be very süffig.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear golden, plentiful carbonation, rocky eggshell lace. Grainy and hayish malt notes, pleasant enough hop play, does not quite cover the papery notes though. Chewy, sparkly light body. Aromatic finish.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Strong malt-accented aroma with toasty notes, fruit confit with berries and banana, shades of chocolate and a whiff of ashes. Moderately sweet flavour this light touch of bitterness, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Rich and deep malt-character with complex fruity flavours, getting slightly vinous, also hints of chocolate, lingering into the lasting delicately vinous fruity and slightly tart finish. Good. 22.XII.14

Tap. Hazy deep amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is juicy malts, bubblegum, caramel, overripe peach, raisins. Taste is more peach and caramel, earthy-herbal hops, toasted malts, berries, with a touch of starch towards the end. Soft oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very nice and balanced!

Tap at the brewpub, 12.1°P and 4.9%. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is a bit roasted malt, berries, chocolate, toffee. Taste is chocolate, some grassy hops, minty, berries, bready yeasts, quite light, but still with lots of flavours. Aftertaste of mint and some bread. Medium carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Excellent Dunkles!
