Can at home. Clear amber color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, metallic. Flavor is malts, very boozy sweetness a bit, wet leaves. Hmm poor BW with too much alcohol by volume. Meh 7-5-5-6-5

25/X/25 - 33cl bottle, bought and shared @ kelderschatten tasting by Gentse Biervereniging (Baracuna), BB: 22/XII/22 (2025-1068)
Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: nice, gentle roast, lots of chocolate notes, some caramel, red fruits, cherries, cuberdon (candy “noses”). MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice, lots of chocolate up front, slightly sourish, milk chocolate, caramel. Aftertaste: gentle bitterness, a little sweet, some (over)ripe banana.

25 October 2025. At “Gentse Biervereniging Kelderschatten” (Baracuna). Cheers to the whole crew!
Dark fudge, caramel sauce, molten fondant, cappuccino, dried fig & date, liquorice. Sweet fig & raisin, dark fudge & chocolate sauce maltiness, softly bitter coffee. Earthy hops, dried fruits, warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, oily-sticky texture, soft carbonation. Almost pastry-like Stout but the malts do all the work here, cleverly done by Galea.

Ginger, pineapple, lime. Sweetish pineapple & plum, spicy candied ginger. Slightly tart and peppery finish. I dig this as a NA beer.

Greige head with purplish sheen over orange-brown rimmed black beer, pouring viscously. Booze, wood, charcoal, roast, sweet liqueur. Roast, vanilla, cream, coffee (especially retronasal). Sweet, if nowhere cloying. Very late, a more pronounced coffeeflavour appears. Very well-bodied, some alcohol, slick-oily. Good carbonation. Tiramisu, Amaretto... I feared the worst. But then, it proved to be quite good, and even grew on me. Pastry on the next level.

Cream-russet small head over deep dark redbrown beer. Rum, rumbonen, raisins. Felt, musk. Black cardamome. Eggnogg, some roast, rum, booze, musk. Alcohol & fusels, raisins. Dried red/dark fruit. Fiery MF, furious alcoholheat, some alcoholthinning. Medium carbonation. For a rum barrel aged beer, I rather like it, which is far from obvious. Weak souls, please abstention.

330 ml can. Pours a dull dark mahogany with full foamy head. Aromas of caramel/brown sugar, dark fruit, some dankish bittering hops and bready malts. Flavors are big sugars and big doughy malts leading with some underlying dried fruit. Unrefined and too sweet and malty.
