Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear golden, mid sized head, Buttery nose with honey and bread. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, syrup, butter and bread. Low bitterness.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear pale golden, fizzy head. Distinct coriander aroma, Sweetish with very light body and clean mouthfeel. Watered white bread, coriander, slight orange. Low bitterness. Would have guessed this to be 1.5%.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Bready nosexwith dates and caramel. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dates and dark bread, som hay. Mid bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains, mild wheaty tones with some slight herbs and a bit caramel. Flavour is spelt, grains, mild honey with some herbal and mild caramel tones to it.

Thanks fonefan! Ruby colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, toffeeish and mild toasted tones to it. Flavour is chocolate, toasted, some sweet malts and mild dried fruits. Nice one.

330mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has lots of toasted nuts, bready caramel malts, and a touch of dried toffee. Flavour is much the same, with red fruits, dried toffee, and bready caramel. On the lighter-bodied side for a doppelbock, but the alcohol presence is felt more than usual. Solid.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has light-to-moderate peated malt, with a soft bready malt base. Flavour is much the same, with a light biscuity malt base serving up a foundation for the moderate peated character. Light-bodied, with low residual sweetness. Certainly not a peak example of the style, but it’s clean and well-brewed.
