Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Amber coloured, medium sized airy off-white head, banana and mild spices in the nose. Wheaty, yeasty, light caramel, quite spicy and dominant banana with rather high carbonation. Mild toffee as well. Sweetish finish.

First poured without the yeast, a beautiful clear deep amber colour, when the yeast is poured, the colour stays the same obviously, but cloudy. The head is off white, frothy, with a small layer that lasts long. Aroma's: banana, spices (not so much clove however). Retronasal: banana, wheat-fruity, sweet. Flavour is rather sweet light bitterness and spices. Medium bodied. Fairly high carbonation. Flavour lingers.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 04.02.2023) im 2023-01 getrunken. Dieses bernsteinfarbende, kräftig schäumende Weizenbock fällt gleich mit Karamell- und Bananenaromen auf. Eine leichte mineralische Note fällt auf. Ansonsten ein wirkliche schönes Bier mit kräftigen Körper!

Pours hazy pale golden with visible carbonation. Classic weizen head, possibly a bit smaller than average. Good enough retention and nice lacing. Brightly fresh and nicely clean aroma feels quite pronounced on the fruity (citrus, orange zest, lighter banana) and spicy (clove) departments, with a background of bubblegum and a light but present dough-like feel. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, again with an excellent refreshing feel and a light per style (but present) doughiness. Obviously sweet but probably less than style average, with a clean relatively dry finish/aftertaste (i mean dry per style) that leaves a fruity reminiscence. Quite light bodied with quite vivid carbonation, though perhaps not too high per style; overall your pretty classic easy, smooth hefeweizen mouthfeel. A very nice, especially refreshing example of the style.

Bottle part of picked up from Landbierparadis, webshop, Nürnberg and comsumed at home Thursday 12th Januar 2023 listening to YardAct - Overlord, and we're cooking Spätzle for tea tonight. Pours clear warm gold with a white head, good carbonation, looks great. Surprisingly bitter but allied to a hefty malty body this is actually hidden, but there is a really good bitterness that lasts forever and a day. Sleek mouthfeel nice honey flavour but again this is heavily balanced by the bitterness. Really like this.

Pours mid to dark amber, quite hazy but actually not too much for a weissbier. Mid to big sized head, slightly off-white, shows good enough retention and not much lacing. Not so much intensity in the aroma: the slightest dough like base, bubblegum, rather vivid fruitiness (melon and orange most noticeable), slighest hint of spcininess. All among a vaguely warming feel. A bit more freshness/intensity in taste. notes as per aroma, with quite vivid fruitiness and a bit more spiciness (clove) than the smell suggested. A quite interesting finish: pretty dry per style (relatively so in general terms), with a nice palate cleansing feel. Medium body, with medium to high carbonation (probably lighter than style average in carbonation), hides the abv very well and feels very drinkable. Overall a nice weizenbock
