Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Opaque murky red color, averagecsized off-white head. Smell and taste are moderately red fruit, nice mix between red fruit and bitter. Decent beer.

Bottle at Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig, 2016 (Sunday sesh.) Hazy red coloured pour, light pink head. Red fruit and berry aroma. Same action in the flavour. Very smooth.

Half pint at Drygate pours a murky orange with some lacing white head. Nose has orange peel, some pine, heavy soap. Flavor follows, very soapy, some mild grist, lemon, pithy. Finishes bitter but dry.

Bottle at the xmas tasting. Pours black, nose is liquorice, toffee, solvent, taste is dry toffee, light roasted malts, sweet.

Bottle at the xmas tasting. Pours clear pale golden, nose is funky, fruity, sherbert, taste is quite sour, lemon, chalky, sharp.

Bottle at home, 08/08/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is passionfruit, mango, straw, tangerine, mandarin, bubblegum. Taste comprises citric kissed straw, tangerine, melon, toasted bread, orange pith, light smokey kiss, pale malts, orange jelly. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Fine.

Pre-gbbf-shinding. Trübes rötlich pinkes Bier mit einer ordentlichen pinken schaumkrone. Geruch nach roten Beeren, Kirschen, Joghurt. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, holzig, milchig.

33cl bottle from a trade with Beersiveknown, many thanks Steve! Pours almost black with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and bitter hops. Taste of intense roasted malt, rich on coffee, vanillla and some bitter hops, delicious!

Bottle at home, 24/07/16. Bought at Hogs Back Brewery. The hops come through in the aroma. A sweet smelling waft. Espresso brown. Fluffy off-white head, clings to the inside of the glass. Bitter. Dark coffee, dark chocolate, with a caramel sweet finish. Light bodied, with a dry finish, lightly carbonated.

Bottle at the 2nd Annual Garvie Christmas Tasting. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of liquorice, prunes, dried fruit. Taste is thin, more liquorice, faint roast.
