Loved this! Highly quaffable berliner with plenty of citrus & tropical fruits. The balanced acidity makes for a lovely drinkable ‘liner.

Pretty solid. Lightly hazy yellow-gold, modest head. Nose seems to feature less hop, more of a soft graininess with just a hint of a noble hop. Flavors include bready malts and a medium level of bitterness that blends in well. Good clean presentation, easy palate. Lingering catty hop at the finish. I drank this a bit too fast, it was so good.

Roast and light berry vibe here. Very nice balance. Black pour with good head and lacing. Creamy consistency like whole milk. Bittersweet finish- some caramel. Tap at Laser Wolf.

Dark copper coloured body with a light brown glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, earth, grain and a dose of grapes as well. Light-bodied; Assertive toffee and light malt & grain notes right afterwards, but some subdued sweetness from grapes and light fruits like apples and pears and little else afterwards. Aftertaste is mild and very subdued with some grain, caramelised sugars and light fruit and yeast flavours afterwards. Overall, a good and relatively clean and fresh Marzen beer that shows well, has absolutely no bitterness for a lager and supports a good deal of complexity and depth of flavours for the style. Worth trying and grabbing if you can find this or if you enjoy the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits (Orange Blossom Trail) in Orlando, Florida on 28-December-2017 for US$2,29 sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here at Walt Disney World [Dolphin] on 28-December-2017 celebrating my second daughter's 3rd Birthday!

Fairly hazy deep copper and bronzed coloured body with a relatively quick-dying tan head that leaves no real trace on top, several minutes later, but the beer itself has an amazing pure orange haze glow when held up to a light - very nice! Aroma of alcohol, yeast, dry grain, flowers, hay and a larger bit of apricots and lighter fruits. Medium-bodied; Assertive dry and grainy flavours with a touch of coriander seed, yeast, alcohol, honey, curacao and some blood orange flavours that make this a tad pungent, assertive and even slightly astringent on the finish. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from the grain, the alcohol, funk and even the floral aspects of this one without any sweetness at all and no real 'tripel' profile. Overall, a funky and dry enough beer with some characteristics, just nothing resembling a tripel. Overall, a funky and pungent/astringent beer, but in the aspects that shouldn't translate to this style. Nice to try, but there is no need to age it like I did - you won't get much out of it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 01-October-2015 for US$2,25 while in town for my 1st daughter's 3rd birthday (other daughter was less than 9 months old), sampled at home in Washington on 24-December-2017, Christmas Eve 2017, right before heading back to Orlando for the 2nd Daughter's 3rd Birthday - Happy Birthday Claire & Paige.
