Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-08 getrunken. Wirkt leider etwas dünn und vielleicht sogar etwas seelenlos. Alle Aromen wirken irgendwie dünn.

This brew is a brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, anise and coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Dang what a nice surprise. First how great is it finally have a dry stout that is NOT a nitro pour. I remember such things 20 years ago, but pretty hard to come by these days. Bonus for that, as now I can actually taste the beer! This has nice full roasted flavors, and a nice pronounced coffee element that works very well. Dry finish but good full palate.

Usual thin Porter, small hints of chocolate and roasted malt that gets me in the mood for a thick stout.
