23rd Sep 2016: cask half-pint at the Shrewsbury CAMRA beer festival. Golden pour, weak and thin white topping. Light malts dominate this subtle flavoured Pale Ale, both in the nose and taste. Drank alongside it’s sister ’Six Bells Sutra’ it seemed a little sweeter and less floral in nature.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2016. Pours a deep brown, dark tan ring. Nutty aroma, taste is nutty with soft dark fruits and cocoa on the finish. Light caramel hints. Not bad.

Hand-pulled half-pint (twice) in The Haygate, Wellington Shropshire on Sunday 19th June 2016. Clear, deep amber colour, off-white lasting head. Decent enough blend with light malts and bittering hops marrying together nicely: nothing overpowering flavour or aroma wise nor different or interesting, just an easy to drink, pleasant beer.

Cask @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours dark amber, thin off-white head. Aroma is light caramel malts. Taste is light with hints of caramel and mirage-like dark fruits. Essentially a very light sessionable ESB in the Six Bells style.
