Inspired by the European classics and the modern American hop forward beers, Ophiussa Brewing Company was born in February of 2021 with the mission of brewing great beers for everyone. The production site is located in Setúbal and is equipped with a 6 hl brewhouse, 5 and 10 hl unitanks and a small canning line.

Clear dark red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of dried fruits, figs and dates, caramel, malty, grains, whisky, alcohol, ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, bitter, roasted, chocolate notes, pretty rich, grains, malts. Aftertaste: bitter cocoa powder, more chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup, nice one!

Clear red to red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: lots of dried fruits, oxidized, raisins, cardboard, some plum jam, dried figs. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish touch, malty, grains, oxidized, cola, caramel, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: a bit smoky, whisky, alcohol, dried fruits, oxidized, bitter touch.
