Tap at BPBW 2025. Muddy pale brown body with particles, though it'd be a smoothie sour - but hey, it's a smoothie imperial stout. I guess. Emm... Coffee dominates the smooth, odd aroma, low banana. Coffee, odd chocolate notes, some banana detected, definitely a smoothie more than an imperial stout. A bit too weird.

Can courtesy of the Croatian contingent at Dürer Kert. Golden body, off-white head. Resinous, berry notes, bit sweetish. Malty, resinous, berry notes, quite okay.

Tap at BPBW 2025, day 1. Bright, opaque, shiny full yellow body. Absolute heaps of pineapple with some mango in the taste and in the aroma, lower coconut. It is what it is, but in a good way.

Tap at BPBW 2025, Day 1. Hazy yellow-golden body, off-whtie head. Citric hops dominate, somewhat herbal. Smooth, bit oaty taste, citric notes, bit too much on the malty side, but the "quadruple" part isn't in your face, which is quite respect-worthy - now that I read this (didn't before, as someone from the table gave it to me), I'm actually revising my score for the better.

440ml can. Pours a yellow-orange colour, some liquid, a lot of puree foam stuff(?) much of which is stuck in the can it's so thick. Aroma of mango, coconut, pineapple. Taste is the same, mango juice, pineapple, coconut cream, nice sweet sour balance. Texture... the liquid part is on the lighter side and has pulp bits in it, the foam is so thick that there is a substantial amount still stuck inside the can. In the glass these separate so it's very weird to drink, you can a bit of each rather than a cohesive whole.

A bottle I swerved at the last tasting coz I already 'ad one, innit? A near opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Smooth airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a good creamy dark chocolate. Good coconut, sweet. A little alcohol spice. Smooth soft coffee. Some rum and bourbon barrel like rich ripe fruits. Smooth finish brings a little alcohol burn. Very good stuff. For the most part, belies its hefty abv and delivers a rich and rewarding Impy smorgasbord of goodness.
