75cl bottle [gift from brewer himself, thanks Roel!] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Hazy dark reddish color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, a hint of liquor, a hint of wood and some fruityness. Suitable 6body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy amber colour with a chunky off-white head. Smells sweet, caramel, barley wine, slightly iron. Tastes coffee, roasty, barley wine, sweet, nice. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ benzai. Brown colour with a small white head. Smells sour, wood, red fruits, slightly dusty. Tastes sourish and sweet at the same time, cherrypeel. Nice but a bit watery. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Hazy, dark blond colour. Quite a creamy and smooth texture. Plenty of malts up front which counter the strong, piney, resinous hop that comes through in the finish.

schenkt zwart met minimale bruine kraag op een hoop prikkelende co2 die meehelpt de kraag op te lossen ipv deze aan te vullen. Aroma van Brett is direct merkbaar, ruikt ook wat naar cola, ook door de prikkelende bubbels, koffie en rood fruit. Direct bij de eerste slok denk je al; Wow deze is behoorlijk aan de Brett, de fruitigheid van rode bessen, laurier, koffie, de stout zit wat op de achtergrond, voornamelijk de koolzuur en de brett en fruittonen overheersen het bier, na een tijdje komen de koffie/chocolade/mouten wat meer door zetten. aardige poging maar of ik dit vaker in een stout zou willen zien valt te bezien, .... ik zie het liever in een fruit bier oid.... al met al voor mij niet zo geslaagd.

300ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, in a swoosh rapidly diminishing, tan head. Chocolately dark malty, vinous aroma, notes of dark chocolate, red wine, blue grapes, red berries, hints of alcohol. Taste is dry, vinous, tannic, minimally tart, tangy, roasty dark malty, notes of blue grapes and their parings, morello cherry. Fermented till the cow comes home.

Bottle @ WWT IV, small sample. Slight hazy copper color, short head. Aroma of some caramel malt, bit acetic acid, red fruit, funky, bit wood. Medium sour in taste, bit too much on the acetic acid side instead of lactic acid.

Bottle at WWT thanks to one of the brewers. Slight hazy burgundy with very small white head. Balsamico vinegar, hay, Massive funk, barnyard, sweat, very herbal with some oregano. Quite sour, medium bodied with dry feel.
