330ml. Opaque brown colour, tiny beige head. Interesting marshmallow pastry stout nose has also evident sweet portwine aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish, portwine, brandy, touch of salt, wood, oak, marshmallows in the flavour. Tad sweet but not a suprise as Madeira and Port barrels used. Lots of nuances in the flavour. It's a bit letdown that body is quite shallow.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, spicy, Bourbon notes, vanilla, boozy hints. Taste: Spicy rye, Bourbon notes, boozy notes, vanilla, liquorice, roasted malt, earthy, hints of nuts. Medium to over medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Full and smooth body, below average carbonation. Nice balance and complexity. Very nice.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is strong coffee with mocha, espresso, roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, slight nutty notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a fairly robust bitterness. Full body with some creaminess. Hoped for more hazelnut, it's barely present. Lots of coffee though.
