Can ordered from Prost, Chester. An not particularly attractive murky hazy-opaque treacle toffee brown. The foamy light beige head is its redeeming feature appearance-wise. Aroma is sweet with a spicy streak. Fruity caramel and rye. Slick. Grainy. Light-medium bitter. Tangy edge. Develops a sweet streak. Fruity. Caramel. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Delicate. Soft if flat carbonation. Lovely stuff.

Can. A very light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a trace of caramel in with the thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring light cooling pine, somewhat ripe citrus, marmalade, modest ripe lemon. Crisp finish. Decent but not the usual Baron wow factor.
