The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales and fresh lagers.
The 1000L brewhouse allows for an ever-changing range of beers to be brewed. Each style will be pushed to its limits, with the evolution and development of new flavours.

500ml can from The House of Trembling Madness. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, lemon, tropical fruit taste, aroma is something similar. Quite a crisp and refreshing IPA but not one that I'd return to in a hurry.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft rich pale malts, a nice depth and of flavour here, grain and malt cream in good harmony. Soft cooling pine into almost vodka and orange hop vibe. No alcohol heat or spice buy I can taste it. Decent smooth orange hops, not really getting anything else from the evidently abundant Citra, a disappointment in that dept. In summary, a very drinkable TIPA but was hoping for a lot more from Citra, especially given the amount that was used.

Sample courtesy of Cheeseboard, cheers Simon! Coppery amber gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of caramel, grapefruit, peppery hops. Taste is malt caramel, tropical fruit, grapefruity citric, pine, with resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Tight white head left a loose growth on a dark amber coloured body.
Resinous & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry back.
Malt, resin, over stewed fruit, grapefruit & citrus tastes with a bitterly hopped finish.
This is an old school IPA & not particularly trendy anymore - probably not to some people's taste - but it's excellent.
