The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales and fresh lagers.
The 1000L brewhouse allows for an ever-changing range of beers to be brewed. Each style will be pushed to its limits, with the evolution and development of new flavours.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Hoppy, oaty aroma. Dry and bitter hops with a little bittersweet tropical fruit. Lemon, grapefruit, grassy. Just a big punchy IPA with fresh, bittersweet tropical fruit. Crisp, tasty, strong.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, thin for a dipa but not thin objectively. Crisp pine. A mild hop spice. Modern Mosaic brings the expected candy fruits and a trace of blueberry. A little candy mango shows a bit more of the old Mosaic. Light crisp finish brings more hop spice and even better, the blueberry gets a little stronger. Yeah, as modern Mosaic goes, this is pretty bloody good, roughly 75% as good as it was 12 years ago and that is as good as I've tasted in some years.

Can. Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic version. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a lovely light creamy sweetness. Joy of joys! Some actual Nelson grapey winey things going on here, juicy and bright. Bloody marvellous! Still not Nelson of old but a very good reminder. Whisper of passion fruit. Smooth but fairly bright citrus underneath. Good smooth modern Mosaic candy fruits, mild blueberry. Finishes light and crisp with more cooling pine and a little hop spice. Juicy bright hop fruits. Fabarooney.

Can from Beerfly, Bedford. Pours hazed gold with white foam. Aroma is fresh, fruity, stone fruits. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, that earthy Ekuanot hop note coming through in the dry-ish finish. Medium body with fine carbonation.

Can from The Beer Cave. Golden body with a faint haze and a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of pine, marmalade and earth. Flavour of orange peel and Lockets. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is a nice IPA but it’s not as bright/hoppy as my favourite west coast IPAs.
