Description
Baron Brewing is a playground for beer, where no two batches are the same. Made for the fun and love of the process – the next beer will be the best beer.
The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales and fresh lagers.
The 1000L brewhouse allows for an ever-changing range of beers to be brewed. Each style will be pushed to its limits, with the evolution and development of new flavours.

Can at home in Hackney. Sourced from online. Pours mostly clear amber with a foamy, off-white head. Medium sweet flavour with lovely citrus and pine, whole grains, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Modest piney resin to finish, further toasted grains, ripening citrus. Excellent.

Can from HOTM. Semi-hazed yellow with small white head. Nice aroma and taste of lime, guava, cucumber, herbs, pale malts. Medium bodied, semi-dry, fine slightly frothy carbonation. Excellent for the strength and perfect on these hot days and nights.

Can from Prost! bottle shop, The Wirral. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is jammy dark fruits, molasses, dark chocolate, touch of coffee. Taste is jammy dark fruits & molasses leading to long lasting undertones of dark roast coffee & caramel, really sets the tone. Heavy sweet lightly boozy aftertaste. Very nice.

Quite heavy on the earthiness in the aroma but the taste is good. Soft creamy and fruity.

Can. Near clear deep amber beer, 2 inches of bubbly pale tan head! Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy creamy malts, a modest dark character presents via a touch of sweet dark chocolate. Belma hops deliver light cooling pine into slightly ripe but juicy berries, especially strawberries and raspberries. Airy finish. A slightly sweet dark lager but with intriguing and complimentary flavours. An enchanting brew.

500ml can taken away from Beerfly, Bedford. Light yellow, hazy with a fluffy little head and special bit of lacing. Grapefruit, gooseberry, vanilla, apricot. Sweet taste, very hop-driven. More grapefruit, stone fruits and a touch of mint. Just a little orangey bitterness in the finish. Smooth, light body, soft to medium carbonation. Really dig this.
