We were born from the minds of Joshua Garman and Austin Good (two local guys who loved to brew), and we joined the neighborhood in September of 2015. Yellow Brick Row has become our home away from home, and we hope that it is your’s as well. So, swing by the Tasting Room, find yourself a seat, and enjoy one of our beers. There’s always room for more at the bar.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours a muddy deep dark brown / near-black with almost no head — looks terrible. Aroma reveals deep chocolate and an odd tart fruitiness than must be the pomegranate; the bourbon takes a backseat. Flavour is exceedingly sweet, like the Ascending Angel, but the tartness from the pomegranate counterbalances the sweetness somewhat. The bourbon is hardly noticeable in this one, as the chocolate and pomegranate dominate. Anything but subtle. I don't know who can drink this without getting diabetes into the second ounce. It's good in tiny amounts but lacks balance and refinement.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours black with almost no head. Aroma is dominated by the bourbon barrel upfront, with traces of cocoa, vanilla and a hint of coconut in back. Flavour is exceedingly sweet, with intense dark sugars, vanilla, light coconut, and big bourbon notes. Way too sweet, definitely in cloying territory, despite the complexity being pretty high. You gotta dial down the residual sugars here big time. A tasty diabetes bomb drinkable in tiny amounts.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma is full of PB2 powder, lots of lactose, and some cocoa. Flavour is less than sweet than expected, with PB2 powder, cocoa and light lactose that's been fermented out. Not much complexity here, just a decent drier chocolate stout with the usual crappy peanut butter powder. Meh.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has pithy stone fruits, some gentle dank hops, and sweatiness. Flavour is bitter and metallic in the hop expression, with sweatiness, metallic notes, and bready malt. Bad hop expression. All sorts of things wrong here. Not infected, just either a bad recipe, and/or bad execution of the recipe.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a sweaty armpit hop expression, with light pine, and bready malt — that doesn't smell right. Flavour is much the same, with a sweaty hop expression, some armpits, light pine, and dry biscuity malt. This clearly didn't use the hops right - seems like they added them too early or fermented with them too long. Not great.

On tap at Hidden Springs, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of peach, a touch of strawberry and plenty of both lactose and lacto. Flavour is sweet and sour, with lots of strawberry and peach, sugars, and light lacto. Typical adjunct-laden sweet kettle sour. Not my thing at all.
