Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy dark blond colour. Aroma of earthy hops, armpit, straws, some orange peel, light sugar. Good body strength, with mild residual sweetness; the malt is quite strong, biscuity; the hopping is mostly bitter, with some bitter orange character. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about the pithy bitterness. An old style West Coast IPA, but quite well done.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Slightly hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma of veg and grain. Flavouring of middling grain and... this is almost lager quality, sorry. Try again...

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear blonde with white head. Huge aroma of apricot. Taste is dominant pale malt with light apricot sweetness. It's decent, but something about it clashes, just can't quite place my finger on it.
