Pretty decent beer, not a quad per se. like a strong brown, interesting in that sense. Bierkonig ams
Actually quite nice for a super fruit beer. Very small sourness. Really enjoyable for what it is. Bierkonig ams

Bottle from a gift.

T: very sweet date, pear, raisin; syrup, herbal liquorice.
F: herbal hops, syrup, candied fruit, spices, warming liqueur-like alcohol.

Too imbalancedly syrupy and herbal, but drinkable.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a large fawn-coloured head over a dark ruby coloured body, clingy lacing. Promising caramel aromas with a scent of dark fruits. Well blended taste of caramel-fruit supported by a backdrop of coffee. Mid-sweet malt driven ending. Well bodied, but does not taste that strong. Good drinking on a dark Saturday eve.
