Medium sweet flavor with heavy tangy dark malts. A bit too sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tangy berry finish, faint cocoa. Meh, so so. Potentially infected.

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington market. Pours a copper-golden amber colour, fizzy giving a thin white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma is biscuity with blackcurrant & woody resin notes. Taste is similar, biscuity malt, fruity blackcurrent, woody, slight yeasty. Some warming bitterness plus a residual sweetness. Light to medium bodied, low carbonation.
