Small, just off-white head over clear metallic copper beer; lazily carbonated. Raspberry aroma, if rather shy and towards the sweet/jam side. Can't get grape even trying hard. Bitterish with a fruity tang & finish. Difficult to say what, but winemost sounds very plausible. Bit dusty, nothing sparkling, the more obvious thanks to the almost absent carbonation. Very slick, even oily feel; still beer, medium bodied. Stale cookies in the aftertaste. Can do better seems to sum it up. Not bad, but seen what is been done elsewhere, in Italy and further away...

Bottle in naples piazza garabaldi. Pours amber, nose is floral, nutty, caramel, pine, taste is similar, resinous.

Keg at the Garden, Sorrento, Italy. Pours bright gold with a large head. Aroma is yeasty grain and straw. Taste has yeasty straw throughout. Simple. Quite a rustic taste to it.

Sampled at LIBF18. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is intense, yeasty, no real grape notes. Taste is sharp, bit sweet, grapes dont show clearly at all. Pretty ok, but not recognizable as the advertized grape ale style.

F: big, white, average retention. C: deep gold, hazy. A: watery malty, fruity, peach, bit floral. Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. Bottle sampled @ LIBF 2017. Orange golden, lacing white head. Nose is dull moth balls, dough, copper, water, paper, same for the taste, bland, empty,..; Wine must is lost for me, dull, weak.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. bottle sampled @ LIBF 2017. Golden hazy. Nose is very dull BE, dull paper, bland, stale. Watery, herbal, chalk, dull BE, bland, boring BE esters. Dull, disappointing, the grape is lost for me.
