Delt med Rune. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Aroma av krydder & lakris. Smaken diffus. Litt sjokolade. Liten bitterhet som ikke har noe her å gjøre. Tørr avslutning.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Pale rose-gold with a negligible white head. There is a very light fizz but it's definitely a bit flat. Flavours are a bit light. Maybe peach and mild pine. Mild bitterness. It's not the best, but it's drinkable and - a big plus for me - it's a rare Merseyside tick.

22/5/2019. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Spring Festival, Ipswich. Pours clear gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruit, peach, mango, grapefruit and citrus. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter fruit finish.

Cloudy blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have are dominated by ginger. Too much and too sweet for my taste. Qualitatively ok.
