[50cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a fast fading white head and light carbonation; subdued citrus aroma; light biscuity malt body with some citrus and a leafy bitterness; then a malty finish with some earthy caramel. Unexciting.

[50cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A bright golden amber pour with a short lived cream head and gentle carbonation; malty aroma; malty taste with some caramel; and a light but insistent spicy bitterness from the Fuggles hops. A rather good ordinary bitter.

Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Golden with a creamy head. It’s decent textured for its strength, hiding it will and is mostly hoppy with just a hint of sugared fruitiness in both aroma and taste.

Cask handpull at Bumble Inn Peterborough. Clear amber colour thin white head. a perfectly acceptable pale ale. I guess with some American hops. citrusy finish. dry some bitterness. reminds me of a small New England town. Good malts. balancing hops. good condition fine.

Cask ale, third at the brewery. Shared with Finn. Coal black, bubbles to the rim of the surface, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of chocolate malts. Chocolate to the taste buds, hints of liquorice and a slightly sourish dark fruity touch to the end. So and so. (Liverpool 27.01.2020).

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Pale rose-gold with a negligible white head. There is a very light fizz but it's definitely a bit flat. Flavours are a bit light. Maybe peach and mild pine. Mild bitterness. It's not the best, but it's drinkable and - a big plus for me - it's a rare Merseyside tick.
