Thanks to Dobby. 2007 bottle, ~4 years old with old label. Pours pale gold with a nice white head. Smells fantastic with tons of earthy, mushroomy funk and complexity. Just a big mix of those wild yeast lambic notes. Light and a bit thin on the palate. Unfortunately, the taste clearly indicates that this bottle is going downhill. It has the unfortunate malt sweetness with too much lactic/tannic/acetic dryness in the finish. Still a pleasant beer but better fresh.

Bottle.Hazy yllow colour with white head.Aroma of wood tart apples and vinagar,slight sour with mild fruity mouthfeels and sweet dry finish.Good beer.

2 1/2 year old, from bag-in-the-box at La Fleur en Papier Dore. Dark, thick gold with no bubbles or head at all. Stank-ass funky aroma, piss, horse, dust, old lemon. Ripe stuff! Stinky, funky, flavor, lemon, dust, funk. Lots of funk. Very interesting, a bit of lactic stuff, but not much. Spft, pily, absolutely still palate. Glad to try it, don’t think I could drink a lot.

From tap at the brewery. It’s a flat, hazy, golden colored beer with an aroma of bakers yeast at first, then that scent luckily diminishes a lot, leaving room for lemon, leather and barnyard. It’s thin, dry and acidic on the palate, with flavors of citrus, grapefruit and fruit acid. Well, it’s sure drinkable and all that, far from bad in any way, except for the initial yeasty scent, but it’s a bit more boring than I’d like it. 110501

Bottle @ home. Just opened Dominus Vobiscum Double and it exploded evidently from an infection, so this is my nightcap. Dark red-violet appearance with an off white head that doesn’t last long. Very nice, full raspberry puree, mildly sour nose with hints of other red berries like cranberries. Creamy, mildly tart raspberry puree flavor with a little funk and somewhat vinous. A little strong fruit sour suck on the finish that bothers me a little bit.

33cl bottle from K-Kamppi, Helsinki. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy and light malty. Flavor similar, malt, yeast and some weak spiciness. Light, but refreshing, citrus in finish.

draft @ Delirium. Dorée opaque présentant qcq bulles. Toutes les bonnes caractéristiques d’un bon lambic; sec, poussiéreux, terreux, note de grains, fine aigreur, aspect de grenier le tout laissant une note sèche en bouche avec cette touche de fruit raisin, profile léger de malt avec note de caramel. Carbonation est légère donnant un picotement sur la langue. Facile à boire, mais manque un peu la touche de complexité qui met la version de Cantillon ou 3F devant celle-c.

Aroma exactly like the oat porridge my mom used to make. Some fruits and spices too. Sweetish flavour is somewhat spicy and has some citrus too. Alcohol disturbs a bit here. Rather weird stuff, but drinkable.

0.33l bottle from Fenaknoken, Oslo. The Kadet has quite a cloudy orange body with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is light and mild malty, notes of yeast and hay. Also some light citrus notes. Lively to aggressive carbonation, light-bodied and it has a watery texture. Tastes mild and disappointingly watery. Notes of malts, light yeast and grass. A bit to thin and watery that I can take it really seriously, but I had no problems finishing the bottle.

375 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, dark red liquid with frothy, medium pink head. Aroma has notes of raspberries and maybe a liiittle funk. Quite musty. Taste is noticeable sweetened with a bit artifical sweetness and light tartness/sourness. Sure, still tastes a bit like lambic but I would have preferred it unsweetened. Light bodied with nice carbonation and maybe a bit watery mouthfeel. Overall, nice tasting and quite refreshing but not as funky and sour as I like my framboise.
