Flaske 0,375l fra Vinmonopolet. Champagnekork. Ga et høyt smell da den ble åpnet. Pen gylden farge. Høyt luftig skum. Syrlig & fruktig aroma. Umiddelart "tørr" smak men den åpner opp etterhvert med nyanser av krydder og frukt. Svakt syrlig. Syrlig & fruktig ettersmak. Uklar nedover i flaska. Litt sedimenter. KI=2. TILLEGG: Prøvde dette (5.12.09) som drikke til en litt syrlig fruktsalat: Veldig bra.

Poured moderately chilled from a compact dark green bottle that was topped by a cork and a wire cradle. Huge, white head quickly reduced to a thin layer. Misty golden body. Spotty lacing on the glass. Earthy smell with modest tartness. Taste of tart berries and lemony fruits on a tight, acidic backbone that lingers throughout the aftertaste. Bone dry palate. Slow drinking. Not actually an hour of joy, more an hour of learning to expand my tasting buds (Tromsø, 05.06.2009).

375 ml "champagne" bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.0%. Pours with an enormous white (possibly slightly off-white) head, which slowly reveals a beer of hazy deep golden colour. Lovely complex aroma of farmhouse and fermenting fruits, hints of oak and spices. The flavour is fairly sour and tart, with a dry finish. Some hops in the aftertaste. Good stuff!

best before 2026. sampled apr 2009. red, large thick dark-pink head. sourish, a bit soapy aroma, also some cherries in it. cherry part of flavor is fresh. boy this is sour. very sour. acidic, sweetness (sort of) from red berries. palate is grainy and the brew foams up in my mouth. overall it does taste quite good, but seems to have some edges to it. the sour part is really nice - seems well balanced and "clean". (6,4,6,1,15). bottle from kihoskh, 2015-12-31, recent vintage. ruby red, small red head. (4, cherry and faint marcipan and glue aroma. too sweet. some cherry core woodness to it, that makes it drier. 7, Flavor is deep cherries, with a well balanced mildly sour background, more kriek than gueuze, but not over the top. super dry, and the lambic is dry, woody, and strong in the background if you look for it. cherries are front and center though. notes of leather and earth. In fact this is really good. my rating changed to 3.9

Saved for a special occasion - just booked my honeymoon. Perfect uncorking - the cork wanted to come out. Great looking ruby body with light amber highlights and a very thin and fast dying pink head. The aroma is heavenly; Perfect sour cherries, definitely mouth watering. Sweet aroma, some earthiness, a little malt comes through, but the ripe and sour cherries is amazing. Medium-bodied; Effervescent feel with the sour cherries, malt and a good amount of sweetness lingering behind. Aftertaste shows some complexity - yeast, grassiness, bitterness and yes the sugar and sourness is still here. Overall, a great lambic, definitely one to sample! Not my favourite lambic, but definitely worth trying again! I sampled this 37.5 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 17-November-2008, sampled at home in Washington on 02-April-2009.
