Clear golden color, small steady white head. Some pineapple-orange, spices in the nose. Light bodied. Quite watery palate. Some orange fruityness, but mainly Belgian yeasty-spicey flavor. Needs more ABV.

Bottled (thanks hanniku!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild vanilla and quite spicy as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some spicy yeast as well as mild zestyness. Quite biting carbonation.

Draft at the Tour de Geuze 2011. Cloudy yellow color, medium large bubble head that disappears quickly. Aroma of sweetened lemons. Taste is citrus, only slightly dry and sour at the finish. Nice.

Bottle from Nelson Wine. It pours hazy dark red with a thick fizzy light pink head and very, very lively carbonation (which led to some spillage). The nose is ripe sweet cherry, moderate sourness, metal, wood and farmyard. The taste is juicy red cherry, lemon, lime, sour white grape, granny smith apple and some metal. For the most part it’s moderately tart, but this smoothes out and finishes with subtle cherry sweetness. It’s really smooth, has a great sweet-sour balance and must be one of the best krieks out there.

Shared bottle @HBF 2011. Poured reddish color with a pink head. Strong sour cherry aroma, flavor was sweet/sour cherry. Dryer towards finish. Well balanced, one of the better lambic fruit beers I have tried so far.

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clearcherry red, no head. Balsamic wild raspberry aroma. Tart and citric with spritzymouthfeel and medium body. Slight notes of butter and some cherry stone bitterness. Not much barnyard - mostly citric and with nice raspberry flavour.

(02/04/2011) bottle@Waagstuk: acidic lemon, some cider, tart, sour apples, hint of vinegar, touch of wood, dry finish, overall a nice gueuze but not one of the better ones that I have tried, bit too much acid, not enough depth but still pretty good /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// (31/12/2013) 375 cl. bottle @ home. Picked up from Carrefour. Who started carrying both this one & the framboise, what 1 year ago now? Oddly they do not carry the kriek it seems. Pours a hazy bright citrus golden, smaller but quite solid white head. Nose is tart lemon & lemon juice extract & acidity with mild funk, touch old musty rotting wine barrels. Taste has this odd sweetness up front bit like lemon meringue & lemon lemonade, odd, followed by simple lemon extract, mild funk, med. sourness, touch cellar & old wood. Touch higher carb. feels bit fuller. Bit odd & simple but not bad for sure. Score 4 -> 4.1

Bottle @ J & C, Ulfborg 2011. Thanks. BB 2014. Pours cloudy red with a small pinkish head on top. Nose is sweet and fresh raspberry jam. Sweet - yet original and lovely. Pleasant tartness with a bit of funk. Lovely.
