(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 Nov 2007) Deep red colour with frothy, pink head. Fruity, tart nose with distinct notes of cherries, horse blanket and stable. Fruity, tart taste with strained cherry notes. Lovely balance between fruit and acidity. Great beer. (And I do believe it was brewed by the recently resurrected Oude Beersel brewery)

Bottle: A sour and tart smell is strong and soon as the cork was pulled. Light hints of fruity tartness and sourdough bread. The pour is a cloudy golden with many particles and a huge white head. Taste is dry and tart, a little sour and tangy. Dry, puckering finish.

This beer is a murky orange color with flakes of sediment in the bottle and glass. Thin white head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Tart fruity aroma with some dusty and earthy malt. Medium-bodied with a tart apple character and light coriander and yeast flavors. The finish is dry with green apple and oak flavors and it leaves behind a lingering citrus and spice aftertaste. Overall this beer is pretty enjoyable.
