Bottle. Amber beerwith a light cream colored head. Yeast and malt aroma with light spice. yeast and spice flavor with tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Yeast and spice lingers with fruity esters. Nice balance.

Sampled at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2010. 2002 bottle. Pours a clear orange with some soft white head. Nose is musty, strawberry, hay, celery, vegetables, white pepper. Flavor is tart, lemony, strawberry. Full bodied with a tart finish.

330ml bottle bought at Fenaknoken in Oslo. Slightly hazy golden body under a film-type head. Malt-fruity aroma. Taste of flat fruits, wheat and grain. Dry ending with a bitter touch. Rather uninteresting and vapid (shared with Finn, Tromsø 26.05.2010).

Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours a clear ruby red colour with a fluffy pink head. Packed full of raspberries in the aroma with hints apples and strawberries. Flavours of raspberry yoghurt, some sourness. Sweet finish. Pleasant enough.

375ml bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep cherry red, with a massive, tight pink-flecked head. Tart cherry and raspberry fruit, musty lemon and the barnyard, with a yeasty dry finish. Very good.

Draft at the Brick Store pub in Decatur, Georgia. Pour is mostly clear ruby red, pink with a one inch pinkish white head. Aroma is intense sweet raspberries, more sugar sweet than tart or sour, though there is a touch of that present. Slight mild funk lingering in the background, but this is mostly about the sugary sweet. The taste follows the nose exactly, sugar sweet raspberry fruit with a hint of tartness and a hint of funk and earthiness. Palate is medium to thin, coast the mouth a bit. Carbonation is on the low level, giving it a real fruit juice sensation. Sweet aftertaste. I would like to try this in the bottle, would love to have a more funk forward beer. This was nice, though.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, perfume. Quite sweet taste of yeast, fruit, malt and some bitterness. Alcoholic but still drinkable.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgium Feb 10 consumed 25-03-10 This pours rich a rich dark red with fluffy pink head, looks great. Aroma is soft stewed cherries, a touch tart but also with some sweetness showing for some unfathomable reason I get a little fish skin as well. Taste is wonderfully cherry, tart, touch of lemon, little dry and a lovely sourness throughout, great beer. A7 A5 F9 P4 Ov16 4.1
