Exclusive pre-launch tasting at the Gert & Samson Epic tasting, thanks to the brewer! Good, very dense & fine white head; finely pearling hazy orange-golden beer. Nettles, Citra hop, wild hops streak. Sweet underbuild for vegetal-hoppy flavours. Hint at limepeel and/or kafir lime. Slightly burning MF, quite well-carbonated. Finish has some alcoholwarmth. Good one, Kris!

Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, sweet, slightly floral. Taste malts, sweetish, again lightly floral, blossom, floral hops in the background, some sugar and a hint of yeast. Decent body, a bit firm carbonation. Not bad, but I don’t get why this is classified as a Belgian Ale instead of an Abbey Tripel just like the label says. That said, it’s nothing like a Tripel, so I guess that’s why..

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Hazy amber colour lasting beige head. malt esters sweetness on the aroma. Pretty much a standard Belgian strong ale in the mouth. Bit over carbonated. As I say a standard not very interesting sweet malty Belgian ale.

Thanks to Mathieu87! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. The male counterpart label to the regular Klets is pretty funny. Pours a hazy to murky brown, little bubbles. Nose is brown sugar, metallic & quite watery. Taste is soy sauce, overripe fruits, rotting herbs, light caramel. Malty & raw dough body. Not very impressive & something that is a bit loss in the great mass of Belgian beers. The guys PhD Doctorate Thesis is awesome from what I understand. Cheers!

Hobby brew (from Bier & Karakter) now commercialized through Deca, with medium thick, off-white head and hazy peach blonde robe. Aroma of apricot, lots of clove-like phenols, banana, honey, dried flowers, old ginger, bread, white pepper, orange peel. Fruity, sweetish onset with some banana ester, supple malt sweetness with strong phenolic spicy notes increasing towards the finish, floral hops, some warming alcohol. Decent but somewhat boring cliché tripel.
