About
The brewery Stradaregina was born from the passion for the craft beer of the two partners Sabatini Alessio and Andrea Branchini.
The careful research and selection of ingredients, the particular attention devoted to the production process and the continuous evolution of the recipes make the beer Stradaregina pleasant and very nice to drink.
All beers are top-fermented and are naturally refermented in bottles and casks.
Some of the beers are aged in oak barrels that give features and unique flavor to the finished product.

To date, the brewery is divided into two distinct branches, one dedicated to the various top-fermented brewers styles and one for the production of Lambic-style beers.
All of our sour spontaneously fermented are the result of a minimum blend two beer vintages aged in barrels for one to three years, with some of the blend proposed is then added fresh fruit, others flowers, others are a mixture of three different vintages without further additions. A subsequent long aging in barrels and in bottle completes the maturation of our products.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 Feb 2019) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with green grapes, apples and gooseberries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of apples, green grapes, craft cider and a fruity tartness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh, but a bit different. Tart, but lacking some cellar and cobweb character. Still, nice one.

19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke, Erwin & Ama Deke! Cloudy black, lasting, small, frothy, dark beige head. Aroma of toast, biscuit, brownie, fondant, mocha, pistachio, walnut, earth, fig. Taste is medium malty sweet, biscuity & creamy with hints of caramel, dried dark fruits (fig, raisin) & vanilla custard, balanced by bitter notes of coffee roast & nuts that lead towards a dryish, earthy hoppy finish where toast & biscuit linger; the alcohol is nicely warming, reminiscent of coffee liqueur. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Tasty but not overwhelming.

19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke & Rubin77! Hazy red, lasting, small, foamy, pink head. Aroma of red grapes, wheat, wood, raspberry, lemon peel, bread, straw, red wine. Taste is medium to heavy fruity sour, lots of grapes, redcurrant & lemon acid, a bit wheaty, toned down by sweetish jam, woody tannins & bitter fruit seeds and a vague accent of ureum. Dry, tart, very lemony finish, wood & red grape giving a red wine-like effect, yet quite mouth-puckering. Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Very dry and sour but wine aspect works well.
