Panda from danlo, thanks Ed! Pours mildy unclear deep orange with no head. Aroma: Islay cask - intense smoky peaty phenols, nothing else gets through! Taste: light to moderate sweet, firmly dry, earthy apple, peat, smoke, iodine, tannins. Medium body, no carbonation. Intense!

Panda thanks to Ed Danlo. A light hazed deep orange amber coloured pour with a big punchy agricultural, paraffin, blue cheese funk, sweaty apple, intense. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody apple, bark, salty blue cheese sweaty note, pithy tannin finish. Palate is semi sweet, pithy, almost still. Intense stuff.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a golden orange with minimal off-white head and fairly high carbonation. There’s apples and melon in the aroma. In the mouth sweetness and sharpness compete for attention. Flavour has floral hops and apples with hints of mango and melon coming through later. Some bitterness in the finish. This is a bit weird – but quite enjoyable.

Bottle sample courtesy of Fergus, cheers! Hazed orange-yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of phenol, iodine, islay barrel. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, then peaty, islay whiskey, oaky wood barrel, smokey notes with some drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry phenolic woody tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
