Pours a light rosé, peachy. Small white head, fades fast ofcourse. Scent is showing mild red fruits. Rosé wine style, actually - which is a first to me. Mild honey character, drying appleskins (addition?) . Taste is sharp, fairly dry, very funky and rough honey profile. Mild carbonation. Not sweet at all. A sessionable mead indeed. Would have loved a smoother (sweeter) honey profile to my own preference. This drinks very wine-like, in a way. Lovely collab between the co2, and 'lightness' of the ABV - making this very drinkable.

Pours an intensely dark, yet clear, red. Scent is intense, syrupy even, on the barrels. Very mild honey base, providing some depth. Taste is mildly tart due to the berries, providing some tannins as well, dryness towards the end - over a medium dry (seemingly) meadbase - which is a bit overpowered by the berries. Barrel profile is mild, hidden even. Very intense, fruit favored melomel.

Pours very water like, slightly hazed, lightest shade of yellow. Scent is rough on the honey, fairly hiding the barrel. Taste is smoother than expected, very funky honey, raw and rough, tad drying though it's clearly sweet. Not getting the barrel, really, and to my surprise I enjoyed the dry version (11, on oak and vanilla) more. Guess they used honey is less to my liking ? Very rough and raw, perhaps some wild yeasts as well ?

Pours a slightly unclear lemonyellow. Scent is full, vanilla and oak shine beautifully, alongside some chestnut style nuttyness. Not very clear on the honey, but indeed a fun and new expression in mead. Taste is fairly sweet by the vanilla and barrel, ends fairly dry and quite boozy. This is fun! Even though I usually tend do dislike dryer meads, the barrel and vanilla work way better than expected..

Clear bright red colour. Aroma and flavour of sweet red fruits. Sweet apple too. Builds up with layers of red fruits, apples, grapes, wood. Tastes like a wild wine. Great.
