750ml bottle. A Xmas gift from Hydes, ages ago. Clear cola brown. Zero head. Nose has wine barrel. Some hedgerow berry. Oud Bruin sweet yeast. Bit of a jam on well done granary toast thing. Taste is light sweet with a little dryness. Very moderate heat from the pepper. Light vinous acidity. Decent body. Fine carbonation. Quite juicy fruity balsamic like finish.

Delicate sweet grapes. Quite minerally. Has a tart edge and a slightly bitter dry note. A touch more acidity would be welcome.

Medium, stable off-white head over clear copper beer. Apples, vinous, bit of caramel. Leafy, bit toasted, dessert wine. Sweet sourish in a good balance. Again apples, appleliqueur, if hardly sweet. Appleskins warming up. What I miss is the dry hopping. Acidthinning and some -burn. Light to medium bodied; certain oilyness. Medium carbonation. Hops? Not a bad beer at all, but I wonder what the exact objective was.

75 cl bottle "Noyau 2023"
"Mixed fermented barrel aged golden sour ale, with organic apricot pits."
golden brown with a white head.
Initial aroma was awesomely sour with lots of funk and fruity notes, after a while though arome got sweeter and more plain sour ale'ish. it's like the apricot wins the sour/sweet battle after a while.
Flavor is wood, funk, sour ale, citrus fruity sour notes, whatever apricot flavors there are, blend perfectly into the sour ale, very flavorful belgian style sour. really good stuff, quite balanced even though very funky. also very well blended and smooth. alc totally hidden which is impressive with 7.5 in a sour.

Keg at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Aroma is vinous and fruity - fruit vinegar. Underlying molasses, chocolate and malts. Dark and glossy. Tan tint. No head. Sour. Vinous. Straining apricots. Peel. Underlying bitterness and dark fruits. Earthy. Kreosote. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Erm.... interesting stuff. Different in a good way.

Bottle at InVitro, köszi Tomi! Highly acidic, got a touch of sulphur in there too, low to medium funk. The fruit character reminds me more of apricot or even grapes, than plum, quite interesting. Good stuff
