Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Hazy citrus, solid white head. Nose is lemon hops, also a bit sweetish, light grass, sweet lemon. Taste is weeds, too much yeast, sweet citrus peel, grass, odd weeds. Overly yeasty. Doesn’t entirely work.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Dark brown, little mocha head. Nose is sweet floral, coffee, hay, sugar, weed, chocolate, grains. Taste is sweet candy, light weeds, bitter flowers (yarrow I suppose, I have taste yarrow only once I think), werid bitter flowers, hay mixed with coffee, chocolate. Creamy malt & sugary body. Very unique, bit hard to describe, very nice, wonderful & special beer. Absolutely great.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Hazy golden. Nose is sweet citrus, oily flowers, bread, hops, hard to describe. Taste is citrus, weird bitter flowers, light anise, floral, weird herbs, light lemon, caraway I suppose, weird flowers, oily hops. Oily, very easy to drink. I quite like, very interesting, easy to drink but I find it very hard to describe this one, plenty of tastes which I cannot really pin point which is pretty great. Very nice beer.

Gose from this Latvian craft brewery, sampled at Borefts. Almost no head, just some off-white, loose bubbles on the edge, colour a cloudy ’dirty’ yellow blonde with greenish hue. Aroma of sour cream, some Sauerkraut, unripe gooseberry, sour crabapple, white bread. Fruity taste with yoghurt-like lactic tartness, salty edge lending it a Gose-ish Sauerkraut effect but gently so - the lactic sourness is stronger than the saltiness (fortunately). Wheaty, soapy, bready middle phase, lean mouthfeel, dryingly tart finish. Juicy and appetizing, an interesting beer from a country which has only just begun to develop a craft beer culture.

Tap at Borefts 2015. Pours cloudy orange blond with no head. Aroma of light fruits, herbal notes, hay and pepper. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at Borefts 2015. Pours clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peach and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light moderate to moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

@Borefts 2015, dag 2, the yarrow devil, van tap, bruin met rode gloed en beperkte kraag. aroma van den, laurier, zoethout, kruidig. smaken van zoethout, erg kruidig, laurier, enorm smaakvol, zoetig, zacht bitter, redelijk zoet, geroosterde mout, hop, lichte cacao, lichte koffie, medium body, zachte co2.

@Borefts 2015, dag 2, (wizard), bleek helder met erg kleine kraag. aroma van lichte honing en graan. smaken van honing, dun/waterig maar over het algemeen zit er wel veel smaak in... citrus, licht floraal, medium body, glad, droog. licht zurig... prima jammer dat het iets aan de dunne kant is...

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Amber, hazy, little white head. Nose is oily pine resin, onion hops, rich light floral hops, pine. Taste is onion hops mixed with caramel, sweetish, pine resin, floral, tad fruits. A tad too sweet but nice IPA. Not bad at all.
