Dark red colour, steady beige head. Red berries, tannines in the nose Medium-bodied. Berries red wine, semi-sweet. Hides abv. Pleasant. TCBW 2025.

Old rating - Notes from my Latvia trip in Summer of 2018, 500ml draft pour at the brewery, pours a dark amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, flora, caramel, pine & hops. Medium body. Dry mildly bitter finish. Very enjoyable on a hot afternoon.

Old rating - 500ml bottle, exp. 03/23 from the brewery on my Latvia trip, Summer 2018, hand selected by the barman & stored in my cellar since. Pours a clear yellow liquid with next to no head lots of floaters, medium carbonation. Aromas of honey cider. Tastes of herbal, honey, perform & alcohol. Slightly sour finish. Disappointing and just about drinkable, but as it's my first Mead I've nothing to compare it to.

TCBW2025. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild smoky tones with some spruce shoots and a bit salted liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, some mild smoky tones with some liquorice root, mild spruce shoots and some herbal tones. Lovely experiment!
