Old rating - Notes from my visit to Latvia, Summer 2018. 500ml draft pour at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of smoked spruce, pine & herbal. Medium body. Dry bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Old rating - 500ml bottle, exp. 03/23 from the brewery on my Latvia trip, Summer 2018, hand selected by the barman & stored in my cellar since. Pours a clear yellow liquid with next to no head lots of floaters, medium carbonation. Aromas of honey cider. Tastes of herbal, honey, perform & alcohol. Slightly sour finish. Disappointing and just about drinkable, but as it's my first Mead I've nothing to compare it to.
Hapu, marjane, vaarikane, viinamarjane, kuiv. Ok.
Magus, herbaalne, kuiv. Ok

TCBW2025. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild smoky tones with some spruce shoots and a bit salted liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, some mild smoky tones with some liquorice root, mild spruce shoots and some herbal tones. Lovely experiment!

TCBW2025. Red colour, small pink head. Aroma is berries, some floral tones wtih bretty elements, grapes and mild tartness to it. Flavour is rather similar. Somewhat dry palate.

TCBW2025. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour, no head. Aroma is floral, some honey and mild grainy tones with a bit toffee tones. Flavour is honey, some grains, mild floral tones with some herbs also. Surprisingly dry palate.

TCBW2025. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart berries, some fruity and floral tones with mild grains. Flavour is berries, wood, some mild floral and fruity tones with mild grains and a bit funk.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout, caramel en rozijnen. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en bacon achtig.
