Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow with a fluffy, white head. Effervescent. The nose holds lemon peel, grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with some pale grains, minerals, more lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Drying finish with further flinty minerality, rindy bitterness, grainy pale malts. So so overall.

Can from Asda. Poured a clear dark brown with a fizzy, short-lived tan head. The aroma is smoky roast malt, light caramel fudge. The flavour is moderate to light sweet with a dry, smooth smoky, light coffee, liqourice palate. Medium bodied with lively initial carbonation. The beer seemed very mildly infected too.

Keg at Brick. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, cereal, cracker, bit herbal, nougat and white bread. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, grassy, straw, toasty grain, cereal, touch of citrus peel with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not sure if it is quite an India style lager, but it is a well crafted lager nonetheless.

Half-pint, keg at Tapped Leeds. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass, fragile lacing, jet black body. Roasted dark malty nose. Brown and black malty flavours of nuts, chocolate, oat, and liquorice. Roasted bitter endnotes. Smooth on the swallow. Tasty, well made porter version. (Leeds 05.07.2017).

Can. Hazy orange - gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, minerally crisp. Thin sweetish malts. Nice fresh fruits - orange and mild lemon. Passion fruit, pineapple and floral lime. Some piney hop and mild hop spice. Light crisp finish. Plenty fruity as it should be with all that added juice. If they could a bit more hop assertiveness, this could be a belter. Nice beer as it is.

Keg @ Tapped Leeds, Leeds. Pale golden and not too sour, possibly as it clearly lacks strength in its body.
