(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 24 Nov 2016) Pale amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit, resin and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, resin, sweetish malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with a generous hop profile. Nice one.

Bottle at L42, Thanks to Dave. It pour cloudy darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, slightly burnt, cocoa, wood, candy, dull smoke and leather. The taste is dry, some bitterness, wood, leather, charcoal, chewy malt, dirt and a touch of ash. Finish is dryer and charred. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit messy. Below average porter.

Key Keg at Merton Beer Festival, Oxon, Friday 24th February Pours black, soft mouthfeel, nutty (almond/praline) creamy, perhaps a tad too sweet. Some coffee, a fruity tang at the end. Good, but not completely blowing me away. A7 A4 T7 P5 Ov15 3.7

Can courtesy of Helen and Geraint, consumed at home Wednesday 22nd February 2017 (another day drinking a beer on a normally non beery day off) Hazy amber in colour with a white sticky head. Pretty decent bitter, I guess from the description it is slightly more modern, however to me seems to be quite traditional, pleasant sessionable, fruity, bitter. A6 A4 T6 P3 4 Ov12 3.1

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Clear deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy.and dry and has decent carbonation. Sweet dry coffee. Sweet esters. Tangy malts. Dry spice. Dry finish. Awkward ond over dry and as naff as the lame overpriced centre it was inspired by.
