Bottle from Marais Salées shop. Dark brown with light tan head. Sweet brown malts, leather dog collar, with some dog on it. Sweet licorice and some hazelnut. Quite sweet and watery and moderate bitter. Medium body, watery and low carbonation. It’s labeled as Double Stout but I’d say it’s not even half a stout. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barbe Bleue on 16 Aug 2019 at 22:45 - Score: 5

Bult maffe kruiden.

Thank you Chris for sharing this - Dark golden with a white head, no carbonation - Malt and some spicy notes in the aroma - Malt body with some weak hints of caramel and some spicy notes from yeast and oxidation from age - Malt goes into the finish - This was ok, but on the old side
