Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Long Man American Pale Ale ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, bread - nutty notes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, caramel, malt and hop bitter, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Hazy orange beer with a creamy head. Light bitter fruit smell. Flavour is tart and orangey, aftertaste is hoppy and crisp. Nice, refreshing pint.

(Cask at Black Door, 20150603) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, citricness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter.

(Cask at Kitty’s, 20150523) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, almost white and it lasted long. Aroma had malts, earth and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, sweetness, mild tartness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A brew that’s not an enjoyment to drink.

(Cask at Kitty’s, 20150517) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and mildly malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was thinly sweet and somewhat bitter. A weak hoppy pale ale.

Hand pulled at the Pump House, Shirley, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothty white head. The aroma is light malt, very light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a biscuit malt, fruity hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Bright amber with a loose cream head; citrus aroma; sweet grapefruit taste; with a crisp grassy bitterness to finish. A refreshing golden ale.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Amber with a thick creamy head. Has a lovely light citrus fruitiness with orange flavours most prevalent.

Pint Dig and Bone, Lincoln. Clear yellow gold with a white creamy head. Light malt aroma, nothing jumps out. Taste is bigger hops, citrus with a bitter finish.
