Fles 33cl thuis. EBU 71. Duidelijk JD invloeden. Vanille, eik, zoeten, hoppig, bitters, citrus, malten, hop (cascade, citra, galaxy), caramel, bloemig, licht oily, licht droog, licht zepig. (6-3-2021).

Black with thin head. Aroma is a little boozy but the whisky is there . Flavour has strong cacao dark chocolate and a little liquorice. Warming sweet malty whisky notes in the finish. Smooth and silky.

Towering, big-bubbled, fluffy cream to tan head over black beer with orange-brown highlights; textbook lace. Liquorice, smelling sweet, zoete drop , dry-ish hops in the background. Bit metallic-hoppy bitterness. In the very finish, the liquorice reappears. Dry-ish, melanoidin-rich malts and hops, but much less outspoken than usually in black IPA. Quite slick, probably lighter than it feels, good carbonation. OK, but Hilldevils definitely always stick to the sweeter side. Thanks to Stef!

Bottle. Amber color. Gummybears and soft floral notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with gummybears, hints of caramel, oak and vanilla. Alcohol. Slightly herbal. Whisky. Hint of vanilla.
