Dark amber colour. Aroma has lots of vanilla and wood. Flavour has muted hop notes, caramel maltiness and more vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel.

Black with lasting thick head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of leather and earthiness. Full bodied. Slightly oily.

Bottled May 2018. Dark brown colour, almost black, small brown head. Aroma is cocoa, funky, peat, some spices. Alcohol does not disturb. Medium sour, light bitterness. Looks like an infection. Decent.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is warm en bitter met vaag iets van sherry. Verder fijne rook en een heel licht zure bijsmaak en licht romig in de mond. Gewoon een goed bier, maar niet exceptioneel.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong riped fruits, caramel, apricot. Taste of sweet oak, caramel, wood, apricot.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter met in het begin erg veel rook wat later wat aangenamer wordt. Licht zoet met iets van koffie en vanille maar uiteindelijk overheerst de rooksmaak iets te veel vind ik. Ik ben wat minder enthousiast dan eerdere recensisten omdat de rooksmaak iets te veel overheerst.
