Draft at Milk and Hops, Chelsea, 12/17/16. Hazy orange with a nice, lighter beige head and some heavy, spotty lacework. Resiny hops, pine, a bit of grass. Herbal hops. Some citrus rind. Fairly bitter for the style. Dry and very clean. Bitter close.

Can from Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Pours a totally hazed yellowish color with a white head and some really nice, spotty and drippy lacework. Big, juciy hop aroma, mango, peach, More of a subdued flavor, with a good amount of sweetness and a light bitterness. Drinks fairly shot and quick. Soft carbonation. Pretty good beer, I could use a little more bitterness personally, just feels like it falls off a little too quickly, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. If you forget the 5% rule, this is pretty dark sessionable. One 16 oz can doesn't really feel like enough, but that's all I have, so it'll have to do.

Draft at N4 (Whole Foods Williamsburg), 1/1/17. Murky darker orange pour with a sheet of beige head and some heavy lace. Juicy hop aroma and flavor. Some lighter yeast / funk notes. Somewhat dry. Very drinkable. Much more hop-forward / IPA-like than the lower ABV version with the similar name.

Draft. Golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of clove, spice, toasted grain, plastic. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Nothing delicate about this beer. Overly spiced. Goopy, medicine-like mouthfeel. Yuck.
