GTMW 2023. This is not great. Not sure what is norwegian about it, a weird corn flavor, I do not get spruce. strange and whatever they were trying to do, it didn't work.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a cloud golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of twigs, floral notes, light sugars, and a touch of esters. Flavour seems like a Belgian at base, with gentle esters, subtle floral notes, and then the branches. Needs more branches and earthy stuff to really convince me as a proper sahti; as is, its more like an earthy, sprucey Belgian. Decent.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a cloudy dull orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of toasted caramel, brown sugar, and soft bready malt. Flavour is a bit rough, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and some syrupy notes. The malts are a bit rough, leading to a pretty sloppy but inoffensive barleywine.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has big toasted caramel, bready malt, brown sugar, and some resinous hops. Flavour has a nice balance of resinous hops and caramel malt, with the sugars kept in check; lots of toasted caramel and bready malt on the finish, with just enough bitterness. Very competently done.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted bready malt and a hint of toasted caramel. Flavour is much the same, with lots of toasted bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of booze thats kept in check. For such a high ABV beer, this is remarkably smooth. Very good.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has dark bready malt, some toasted rye-like notes, and a touch of leather doesnt smell like HotD Adam. Flavour is dry and malty, with dry bready malt, a hint of toasted caramel, and a smidgeon of leather. Not really on-style if you can call Adambier a style but its a solid, malty, dry strong ale. Good.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has lots of bright piney hops, gentle dankness, and oily resin, with subtle melon in back. Flavour is bitter and bright, with lots of piney hops, a touch of resins, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Crisp, piney, dry; well-constructed, just my kind of bitter, blonde and definitely-not-remotely-hazy DIPA. Excellent.

Aromas are mainly yeast with some malt and spice. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, spice comes out a little more as does malt. On the sweet side with a full soft mouth. Interesting.
