Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew. Brune légère, semblant bizarre pour ce stout impérial, col fin beige. Arôme au nez fin malté, grille, retro trop belge cahcant le peu d’effluves venant du café. Note rétor de sucre brun. Palais malté, grillé avec un sucre résiduel, voire malt cara crystal. Café ets à la traine.

Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew. Dorée, léger trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez fruité, belge avec une touche verte d’herbes. Pas impressionné par ce qui se dégage, et en fait on retrouve bcp de ces notes belges. Palais reste ici aussi assez belge, douce niveau malt, noble houblonné avec un fini monodimensionnel où je n’ai pas spécialement pu découvrir les fameuses herbes vikings.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Dark amber, orange, very dark, darker than their Brunn actually, I didn’t check them side by side but I think that this one might be actually darker than their supposed Imperial Stout, serious what gives? Nose is massive sweet banana, sugar, soap, bread, usual stuff, sweeter than usual which is impressive, more soap. Taste is sweet chemical, soap, sugar, overly sweet banana, sugar chemical. Chemical & soapy body. Too soapy, chemical etc. overly sweet. I can see this appealing to some but it isn’t for me.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Lightly hazy amber – after trying their amber Imperial Stout – okay… off-white head. Vegetable & herbal oily tea rubbish nose; Taste is vegetable plants, oily, over-carbonated, fizzy, herbal nonsense. Not for me.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Dark amber (seriously guy? This is supposed to be an Imperial Stout with coffee), at least they didn’t colour the beer which is something I suppose, little tanned head. Nose is oily vegetable, sweet cough syrup, herbal ;taste is herbal, oily vegetable, cough syrup, herbal, plants. Thin herbal & vegetable body. Bit of a low point for the style really.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Lightly hazy citrus, little white head. Nose is rubbish oily vegetable & some cabbage. Taste is sweet banana, oily vegetables, big soap, chemical, yeast. Not good, not a fan, I tried all 4 beers from these guys, disliked them all with this one probably being my least favourite one, just not a fan.

Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch karamellig, Schokolade. Geschmack würzig malzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig.
