Poured from a can dated 02/09/2026 into a dimpled krug

Pours transparent dark mahogany reddish brown with two and a half fingers of off white dense head that has a good retention. Eventually leaving and some slight sticky lace as it settles.

Aroma of caramel, toasty bread crust, light notes of cocoa.

Flavors are similar, with some nuttiness joining the aforementioned notes. A hint of apple peel in the finish with mild earthy bitterness

Medium light body but on the lighter side with a low carbonation. Finishes reasonably dry, very smooth and sessionable.

Overall its a great start, I'd like to personally see a bit more character in the flavor side and a bit more body wise but I'm starting to nitpick. It's a solid dunkel style lager and one I'd revisit, especially with some brats on the grill.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: ruddy burnt orange color with a sly transparency about it and a three finger white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet and tart character of the cherries meshing with some sweet wheat
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together semi-sweet with a touch of tartness in the background; mild aftertaste of wheat & cherries
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; rolls fairly smooth along the tongue with a touch of tart grit; finishes crisp with the cherries and wheat
Overall: a nicely done wheat ale that I would be willing to come back to sometime in Summer.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: bright yellow cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy hops, tropical fruity hops, clean biscuity malts
Flavor: bittersweet through semi-juicy hoppiness, malts make a decent effort to blend, sly aftertaste of juicy tropical fruitiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards the sipper side, easy going smoothness along tongue, finishes semi-crisp with the tropical fruits
Overall: nicely done NEIPA worthy of coming back to.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the pour and in the glass, then a two finger eggshell white foamy but with some slight bubbles inside the foam, once dissipated, light sliding lace
Aroma: big roasty malts, coffee and chocolate (dark and milk), then some woody sweet to spicy tones which seem to be opening up with more of the Buffalo Trace bourbon
Flavor: sweet and roasty initially through the prior noted aromas and has some woody/barrel semi-spicy notes ridr in for a light balance; quick aftertaste of the spicy woody to sweet tones
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper, some smoothness but also some roasty to spicy abrasion to the tongue; finishes with the Buffalo Trace and roastiness
Overall: a well done Imperial stout with Buffalo Trace in it, man I can only imagine aging another can of this.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which died off at a nice pace to leave some light lace.
Aroma: deep roasted malts, coffee tones, toasted nuts, sweet earthy whiffs, some cocoa powder
Flavor: combines the roastiness to the sweetness very nicely, mild aftertaste of roasty coffee hints and some cocoa powder
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good roast and how it hits the tongue, some smoothness, mild finish of roasty tones and coffee
Overall: nicely done porter very worthy of returning to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one and a half to two finger eggshell white foamy head which settled off to some light lace
Aroma: roasted nuts, toasted malts, nice coffee, undertones, cocoa powder, and some tree bark
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet with some toasty and roasty backings, nice aftertaste of the cocoa powder and roasted nuts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness along tongue; finishes dry, roasty and nutty
Overall: I say nice English brown ale I would have again.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark amber with a sly transparency about it, three finger eggshell white foamy head, once dissipated it left some messy lace
Aroma: pumpkin flesh and some allspice and cinnamon, subtle malts down in there
Flavor: mainly sticks to the pumpkin sweetness, the spices seem more faded here; aftertaste is only pumpkin
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, spices - once again seem faded enough here to allow this beer to be pretty smooth, finishes very pumpkin forward
Overall: glad that the spices normally found in most pumpkin beers really do not play any big part in this beer.

Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: semi-transparent yellow color with a three finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet wheat, some orange peel or pulp-like whiffs, maybe some coriander - I think, some light candy-esque tones, subtle lemon peel further down in
Flavor: starts sweet then adds that subtle "spice" - what I assume is coriander, mild aftertaste of possible "coriander" and orangey tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability, some smoothness but also some grit from the spice, finishes semi-crisp with a light spicy contour
Overall: was this supposed to be a witbier that Frog Alley thought they could pass as a "Winter Ale?" Well, it kinda works though it's pretty muted characteristics all around. Maybe again and might be passable with some food.

Can from Oliver's Beverage, Albany. Opaque dark brown with good-sized head, excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted, earthy coffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering roasted bitterness. Solid!
