On tap at birrai eretici Bologna. A dry saison with some pear, but could've gone even more pear for me, maybe with a crisper malt base - nice anyway.

44cl can, BB 09/2023, lotto# L47/24.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. The malts bring a little creamy sweetness, a fair bit of unsweet caramel toffee. Some tangy fruits, probably borne of the smooth but dominant bourbon barrel. Savoury bourbon, good oak induced vanilla. Soft finish. A pretty mellifluous barrel aged barleywine and, quite the ripe fruity one.

330ml. BB 12/2025. A bit hazy yellow colour, steady white head and lace. Some tropical fruits, lime peels in the nose. Medium-bodied. Grapefruity, lime peely flavour. Oddly almost hopped lager like vibe. Okish.

330mL bottle at Birrificio Italiano - Milano, pours black with a tiny brown head. Nose is full of dark roasted espresso, plenty of wood, and roasted malt. Flavour is complex and deep, with rich espresso, woody barrels, and roasted malt. Everything is balanced well despite how intense this is. Delicious.

Hazy amber brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Light smooth palate, a modest dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light but flavoursome malts, toffee caramel and cream, none of it that sweet. Some savoury wet wood and rich ripe fruity laden whiskey, slightly bitter. Semi dry finish leaves a bitterish spicy linger. Uncompromising ba barleywine.

Bottle from Giulio c.
Opalescent yellow color thick fluffy head. Clean pale malts profile and intense hoppiness, cittue, floral. Solid body nice to drink .
