Description
Two brewers, Jean-Yves Nauroy (42 years old, from Lorraine, saxophonist, bearded fisherman, dad and now brewer) and Régis Barth (38 years old, from Lorraine, scribe, grumbler, all fired up, dad and now brewer) welcome you in their brewery installed at the back of the barn in May 2005, self-financed, tinkered with, adapted and assembled by them.
Most of it consists of adapted, salvaged or second-hand equipment. Since July 1, 2007, they have been renovating an old barn and stable in the village of Revermont Jura, La Ferté. They started brewing there in June 2008 with the aim of increasing production to a livable level, ie 300 hl per year or 3,500 bottles to be marketed per month.

Label claims 6% ABV Good, slightly lacy white head over clear yellow-golden beer. Spicy, pale malts’ nose, heliochrysum, grass. Dry, EU hops bitter, with a good pale malts sweetish background. Finish is dry hops again, peppery, and again a tad of helio- or rather xenochrysum. Bit toasted flavour too. Medium bodied at best, quite slick. Decent, even pleasing, nothing special. Thanks, Jezza!

Pours clear blonde, no real head. Smell is walnutty, oak. Taste is very full, walnut. Typical vin jaune character which I remember from the beer cantillon made with it. This is extremely nice !

Bottle shared thanks to Jean from Moeder Lambic. Very hazy golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is vinous, white grape, light woody notes, mineral, toffee, celery freshness, a light nuttiness and light caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a touch of sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this one, the wine and white grape characters are just fantastic. Such a nice surprising beer! [19-09-2016]

21/V/16 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Erwin's Ponton Tasting - BB: IX/2017 (2016-611) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Cloudy amber orange beer, creamy beige to off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: grassy, some marijuana, metallic, bit floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: metallic, very bitter, even after everything we've had today, unpleasant, bit chemical, tastes like a very bitter pilsener. Aftertaste: is just bitterness and metallic. Nope, that's not how it's done.
